NY) Another beautiful Bayville
Sunset.
Thursday Challenge: HOT Posted at 01:57 PM | Thu - December 16, 2004Mon - December 13, 2004After the Storm(Bayville,
NY) One summer afternoon there was a
drenching rain and just before sunset it began to clear and the colors were so
unusual. It made for a very bizarre scene.
Posted at 01:45 PM | Wed - November 24, 2004Poison Ivy(Mill Neck,
NY) Considering how many times I've been
infected by this plant, I can't believe I photographed it.
Posted at 01:10 PM | Mon - November 8, 2004Egret by the Grass(Oyster Bay — east
harbor) Totally on the opposite side of the
bay of yesterday's picture, this shot was taken while out on Dave's boat. All
the kids went for a swim, I started taking pictures. This was the third snowy
egret I photographed this past summer.
Posted at 12:34 PM | Sun - November 7, 2004Glowing Hills(Oyster Bay,
NY) I thought I would miss the colors this
year, but I had a few good days of shooting. It seems like I got a taste of
'renaissance lighting' and I like it!
Posted at 12:32 PM | Thu - October 28, 2004Lunar Eclipse(Bayville, NY — looking
up) The conditions were so perfect for this
eclipse. I wish I had a really long lens to capture all the details. This is a
blow-up from a 300mm lens. Even though the camera was on a tripod, the exposure
was so long at totality that the earth/moon movement caused the
blur.
